Navicast consists of different parts, a movie publishing and management application called Navicast eZender, an HTML-based web TV player, a simpler HTML-based mobile phone player, a powerful online-TV application called Navicast preZenter, RSS and vodcast feeds. Movies are published and managed with Navicast eZender and presented to the viewers in either the web-TV player, mobile player, Navicast preZenter or RSS / vodcast feeds.
Movies are published, distributed and presented through "channels" on the Navicast System. A Navicast system can have one channel, or many channels. Each channel can have any number of movies in them. An organization can for example set up one Navicast system where each department has their own separate channel. Each channel can have lots of users (publishers) with different publishing and management privileges. All users can publish movies to their channels with a simple drag and drop. Commercial spots can easily be aplied to the movies. The whole compression and publishing process is fully automated. Channels and movies can easily be placed on any web site. Full stats reporting on viewership is available per channel and per movie. Everything is controlled and managed in a clear and structured way. It does not get much better than that!
