Navicast eZender is the backend application that is used to publish movies and media to the Navicast server as well as manage the whole Navicast system. eZender is available for both Macintosh and Windows.
Navicast eZender makes it easier than ever before to publish your movies to the internet and mobile phones. Just drag and drop your original uncompressed movie on to eZender and click publish. eZender will then automatically compress and upload the movie to the Navicast Server from where it is accessible to all the viewers. Simply put, if you have the content, eZender has everything you need to manage, maintain and run your own top quality internet and mobile phone video services. |

Movie Publication and management Publishing a movie with Navicast eZender is literally as easy and quick as drag..drop..click, it takes less than a minute of your time. eZender completely automates the whole process. Video compression is done under the hood, using the most modern and efficient codecs available, resulting in gorgeous results. Once compression is complete eZender will automatically transfer the compressed movies to the Navicast server and make the movie available to all your viewers. eZender provides a truly streamlined, efficient and economic movie publication process. When publishing a movie Navicast eZender will let you: -Set the movie title and add lots of text based information, search-words etc. to the movie. -Automatically or manually set the thumbnail image of the movie from any frame in the movie. -Automatically or manually set the aspect ratio of the movie, 4:3, 16:9 etc. -Automatically or manually crop the edges of the movie. -Automatically compress and publish the movie in several different formats, Quicktime, Mpeg-4*, H.264*, 3gp* and WMV**. -Automatically compress and publish the movie in different bitrates. -Control what web-TV channel and category the movie is published to. -Set if the published movie should be accessible to the viewers or pending in the system. -Set viewer visibility state of the movie. -Password protect the movie for unauthorized viewing. -Optionally set automatic activation and deactivation date and time of the movie. -Optionally set a pay per view price for the movie that will require the viewers to pay to view the movie. Navicast eZender will of course let you change and modify all the above at any time after the movie is published. Navicast System configuration and management Movies are always published to channels on the Navicast system. A Navicast system can hold lots of different channels. Each channel can basically have an unlimited number of movies in them. Navicast eZender makes it easy for you to create, set up, delete, modify and maintain the channels. A Navicast channel can be available to viewers over the internet and or mobile phones as a podcast and or RSS-feed. Each channel can have its own web-TV or mobile phone-TV player design and template that can be customized individually. Movies within a channel can also be organized within categories. All this is easy to control and manage with eZender. Navicast user management (publishers) Lots and lots of users can be set up to be allowed to publish movies to the Navicast channels. Different user levels and user attributes control what the users are allowed to do. Navicast eZender lets you easily create, set-up, delete, modify and manage all these users. Viewer statistics Navicast eZender will let you view viewer statistics and viewer reports. You can se how many internet and mobile phone viewers each channel has had, daily or as a graph plotted over time as well as total, max/min day, average per day etc. You can see the same information for each movie within each channel. Commercial spots (intro movies) Navicast eZender will let you publish commercials or similar that are shown in front of each movie. Compression and publication of these commercials is as easy as publishing an ordinary movie. Just drag and drop your movie on the application window and click publish. Each channel can have its own set of commercials. eZender will also let you control and manage viewer movie ratings and reviews as well as view links to all channels and movies so you can easily embed them or link to them from your web pages.
